SAN DIEGO (Apr. 23, 2021) Lt. Cmdr. Samina Wilson, a perioperative nurse assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), gives the opening remarks for the True North award ceremony April 23. The True North Award is a highly competitive award bestowed upon one U.S. healthcare facility each year. NMCSD is the first department of Defense or Veteran Affairs facility to receive the award.
