U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Ashley Pagan, a Colorado Springs, Colorado, native and financial analyst with the 316th Comptroller Squadron, 316th Wing stationed at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, updates registration records at the state-led, federally-supported Ford Field Community Vaccination Center in Detroit, Michigan, April 15, 2021. Pagan is part of a group of Airmen assigned to 1st Detachment, 64th Air Expeditionary Group, that are assisting with the vaccination efforts. Her main responsibility is supporting local community members by ensuring community members are within health standards to receive their vaccine. To her family back home, she said, “I am excited to be a help to the community here and help them make the change back to normalcy.” Pagan is ready to provide a helping hand to the community of Detroit.
