U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Peter J. L. Callis, a satellite technician with Headquarters Company, 6th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, poses for a photo on Camp Lejeune, N.C., April 6, 2021. According to his leadership, Callis is a grounded and down to earth Marine who always manages to raise morale through his infectious good cheer, humor in the face of adversity and love for his fellow Marines. Callis' indomitable spirit was on full display during SLTE 2-21, where he worked ceaselessly to assist the successful operation of the command and control infrastructure while also supervising over 200 hours of radio watch.
