Chief Mate, John Holesha aboard USNS John Ericsson (T-AO 194) watches as the Japanese Self-Defense Force destroyer JS Shiranui (DD 120) breaks away after a replenishment at sea. Ericsson provides critical supplies to U.S. and partner nations’ navies operating in the Indo-Pacific Region. The fleet replenishment oiler is part of the U.S. Navy’s Combat Logistics force.
