A soldier in camouflage uniform is working on or inspecting the rear section of a military armored vehicle, likely a tank. The vehicle shows signs of wear with rust and weathering on its exterior surfaces. The setting appears to be an outdoor wooded or field environment.

2nd Lt. George Papasotiriou of the Hellenic Army’s 25th Armored Battalion Combat Team inspects his multiple integrated laser engagement system sensor on the back of his Leopard II Hell tank during Thracian Cooperation 2021, a joint force-on-force training exercise, on March 17, 2021. During Thracian Cooperation, 25th Army Battalion Combat Team trained with the U.S. Army’s 2nd Battalion 5th Cavalry Regiment. The 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment is in Europe as a part of 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team’s armored rotation to Atlantic Resolve. The U.S. Army conducts joint exercises, such as Thracian Cooperation with the Hellenic Armed Forces, because they provide the opportunity to enhance interoperability with a NATO Ally.
