Lithuanian soldiers assigned to the 21st Dragoon Battalion, use a .50 caliber machine gun to target mock enemy forces and defend their objective during a culminating exercise Feb. 23, 2021, against U.S. Forces assigned to 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment. The exercise tested the strength of Lithuanian forces to defend their lands against heavy weaponry and a professional Army. The exercise also tested the abilities of 2-8 Cav.
