Maj. Gen. Sean C. Bernabe, Commanding General, 1st Armored Division and Fort Bliss, held a virtual meeting to discuss the progress of OPERATION IRONCLAD with 60 senior leaders from across the installation Feb. 11. The meeting allowed Bernabe to provide command guidance and intent for OPERATION IRONCLAD, and check progress on established initiatives of the directive. OPERATION IRONCLAD was developed over December 2020 and January 2021. OPERATION IRONCLAD’s initial primary goal is to apply resources and leadership to attack sexual assault within our formations and our community. OPERATION IRONCLAD is establishing over 40 separate initiatives on how to improve the quality of life and the safety of Fort Bliss Soldiers, Civilians, and Families. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
