U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Nicholli Killian, an optics technician with 2d Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2d Marine Division, poses for a photo on Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 17, 2021. “Nothing is impossible, the impossible only takes longer.” said Killian. According to his leadership, Killians is enthusiastically recommended for Motivator of the Week for his outstanding leadership and proficiency as the battalion optics technician. After returning from Norway, Killian found himself as the sole optics technician in a shop that normally staffs three. Not only has he kept up with the demand, he has directly contributed to an overall armory readiness of 99.6 percent by working relentlessly to complete all required preventative and corrective maintenance.
