There was an early start to the Thanksgiving holiday as Col. Steven E. Putthoff, commander, and Command Sgt. Maj. Phillip C. Hollifield, brigade command sergeant major, 4th Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division served Soldiers, families and colleagues lunch 24 November at the James R. Wolf Ivy Restaurant on Fort Carson, Colorado. Maj. Gen. Matthew McFarlane, commander, 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson, and Command Sgt. Maj. Adam Nash, senior enlisted leader, 4th Inf. Div. and Fort Carson toured the Ivy Restaurant and helped serve the Soldiers the holiday feast. The culinary experts with 115th Quartermaster Field Feeding Company, 4th Special Troops Battalion, 4SB, 4th Inf. Div. prepared a wide variety of food to celebrate the holiday season.
