U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Corbin K. Bird, a motor transport operator with Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, poses for a photo on Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan. 29, 2021. "Don't Be A Beta," said Bird. According to his leadership, Bird is responsible for the digital terrain analysis mapping system (DTAMS) preventative maintenance checks. He competently fills the role of a liaison between Bravo Battery Motor Transport and 1st Battalion 10th Marine Regiment Headquarters Motor Transport maintenance section ensuring accurate information and maintenance of vehicles is performed. Cpl. Bird received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal for his actions during Rolling Thunder 21-1 aboard Fort Bragg for his ability to keep the DTAMS within the battery fully operational, ultimately keeping the battery in the fight for the duration of the training event.
