Gunner's Mate 1st Class Nicholas Stemper, assigned to the forward deployed Arleigh-Burke class guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56), fires a Light Amplified Stimulated Emissions of Radiation (LASER) in dry dock two at Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) under the supervision of Ensign Tasha Prater, Administrative LASER Safety Officer.
