TAMUNING, Guam (April 17, 2020) Airman 1st Class Ashton Gilbert, assigned to the 673rd Medical Group supporting the 36th Medical Group, enters the room of a Sailor assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) to collect samples for COVID-19 test kits at Government of Guam and military-approved commercial lodging. Theodore Roosevelt Sailors were moved to local hotels in an effort to implement an aggressive mitigation strategy to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health of the Sailors. Sailors remain in quarantine in their assigned lodging for at least 14 days, in accordance with DoD directive and the Governor's executive order.
