Gen. Mike Holmes, former commander of Air Combat Command, and his wife Sara depart ACC's change of command ceremony at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Aug. 28, 2020. Holmes entered the Air Force through Officer Training School in 1981 after receiving a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee and is a command pilot with more than 4,000 flying hours, including over 530 combat hours in fighter aircraft and 39 years of service.
