A U.S. sailor, right, assigned to the guided missile destroyer USS James E. Williams (DDG 95) instructs rescued Iranian mariners on how to properly wear protective equipment before they are transported by helicopter to the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) Aug. 9, 2012, in the Gulf of Oman. Ten men were rescued after they were forced to abandon their vessel, which caught fire in the Gulf of Oman. James E. Williams deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
