Chad Young, 2nd Range Operations Squadron range operations commander, operates his launch console at the Western Range Operations Control Center during the Sentinel-6 satellite launch, Nov. 21, 2020, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. The WROCC actively monitors the sea, land, air and space of North and South America, Pacific and the Antartic. Keeping the public safe from any space related mishap, the WROCC ensures that launch only happens when all safety protocols are present and enforced.
