PAGO BAY, Guam (Nov. 18, 2020) Electronics Technician 1st Class Nigel Brown, deployed with the expeditionary mine countermeasures (ExMCM) capability of Task Force 75, left, and Special Warfare Boat Operator 3rd Class Logan Knudson, assigned to Special Boat Team 12, launch a MK 18 Mod 2 unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) in Pago Bay, Guam. The maritime unmanned systems team in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility launched and recovered the UUV to execute sonar hydrographic survey operations in order to detect and identify underwater hazards.
