    Prep, Prep and More Prep – Much planning goes into getting the best samples but “methodical” doesn’t mean “slow.” Each member of the NTNF Ground Collections Task Force knows his or her role and things move quickly. After deciding where, when and how to get the best sample, a team goes out while planning for future missions continues. Here, Bret Lockhart, a communications specialist with DOE, uses an interactive whiteboard to move data while sample team members, Sgt. 1st Class Esther Baynes (far left) and Staff Sgt. Maliek Kearney, discuss details about the next morning’s mission.
