U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Buffalo District engineers inspect the maintenance repairs to the Buffalo confined disposal facility (CDF) #4, Buffalo, NY, September 23, 2020. The CDF is located at the south end of Buffalo Harbor and was constructed in 1977 by building a stone perimeter dike from the Lake Erie shoreline, south of the Buffalo Harbor South entrance, to the lakeward end of the South Entrance Arm Breakwater.
