U.S. Army Sgt. Christopher Lloyd, (rear), a native of Selma, Ala., and information systems operator-analyst, supervises Spc. Phillip Banuelos, a native of Soledad, Calif., and Spc. Jerell Nickerson, and native of Montgomery, Ala., both multi-channel transmission systems operator-maintainers, as they assign internet protocol addresses to their subscribers at Camp Atterbury, Ind., Aug. 8. By doing so the various task forces they support will be able to communicate consistently. All three soldiers are assigned to Company B, 63rd Expeditionary Signal Battalion, 35th Signal Brigade, based out of Fort Gordon, Ga., and provide internet and phone lines to the task forces in support of the Vibrant Response 13 exercise, a joint exercise bringing various military and civilian agencies together in order to train to assist local, state and federal partners in the event of a national crisis.
