U.S. Army Spc. David Kaleta, a native of Shamokin, Pa., and multi-channel transmission systems operator-maintainer assigned to Company B, 63rd Expeditionary Signal Battalion, 35th Signal Brigade, based out of Fort Gordon, Ga., fills the 10 Kilawatt generator with diesel fuel at Camp Atterbury, Ind., Aug. 8. The generator provides power to the Satellite Transportable Terminal he monitors and maintains in support of the Vibrant Response 13 exercise, a joint exercise bringing various military and civilian agencies bringing together military and civilian agencies together to train on how to assist local, state and federal partners in the event of a national crises.
