Airmen assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Group and 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron prepare to conduct hot-pit refueling training on F-16 Fighting Falcons assigned to the 77th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron at Al Udeid AB, Qatar, Nov. 9, 2020. The training qualified the deployed Airmen to perform 24-hour hot-pit refueling operations on multiple aircraft that rotate through AUAB. Hot refueling allows aircrew to land and keep their aircraft engines running while they refuel, before taking off to continue the next leg of their respective missions.
