Two F-16 Fighting Falcons, assigned to the 77th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron deployed to Prince Sultan Air Base (AB) (AB), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, fly over Al Udeid AB, Qatar, as they prepare to land for hot-pit refueling Nov. 9, 2020. The training qualified the deployed Airmen to perform 24-hour hot-pit refueling operations on multiple aircraft that rotate through AUAB. Hot-pit refueling allows aircrew to land and keep their aircraft engines running while they refuel, before taking off to continue the next leg of their respective missions.
