Command Sgt. Maj. Jewell McCullough assumed command as the Commandant of the Noncommissioned Officers Academy, 218th Regiment (Leadership), South Carolina Army National Guard, during a ceremony July 25, 2012, at the McCrady Training Center in Eastover, S.C. She is the first female and first African American commandant in the schools history.
