William Touchette, a pneudraulics system mechanic at Fleet Readiness Center East, checks the position of a V-22 Osprey swashplate actuator before using a new test stand to conduct acceptance testing procedures on the component. The swashplate actuator is one of the top barriers to aviation readiness for the V-22 aircraft, and the new test stand will allow FRCE to improve support of the component.
