Capt. Chris Englen assumed command from Capt. Terrell McClard for Bravo Co., 2nd Bn, 147th Aviation Regiment, Sunday, October 18th, 2020, in the Army Aviation Support Facility in Frankfort, Ky.. Lt. Col. Gabriel Spicer, Battalion Commander, 751st Troop Command, led the ceremony.
Upon taking command, CPT Englen gave thanks to his wife, children, crew, and parents.
"I had the honor of having my dad pin me when I graduated from flight school," said Englen. "I asked if he had any words of advice -- to sum it up in one sentence, he told me, "if you take care of your crew dogs, they will take care of you."
