Thomas Bingol, chaplain for Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, blessed a chocolate labrador retriever outside St. Michael’s Chapel, MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, Oct. 7, 2020. The holy water blessed by Fr. Ignatius Madumere, Catholic priest for MCAS Cherry Point, was used to bless the animals symbolizing an expression of goodwill and caring in the animal’s relationship with his human companion.
