MILLINGTON, Tenn. (Oct. 1, 2020) Navy Recruiting Command held a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the establishment of Navy Recruiting Command, Region Central. Region Central will work in unison with Regions East and West to recruit talented future Sailors for the Navy. Commander, Navy Recruiting Command, Rear Admiral Dennis Velez, is the presiding officer over the ceremony as Captain Robert Smith takes charge as Region Central Commodore. Region Central is the newest command that Navy Recruiting Command has stood up in over 30 years.
