Brig. Gen. Gregory Kreuder, 56th Fighter Wing commander, runs alongside Luke Airmen during the annual POW/MIA vigil run Sept. 18, 2020, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. During the event, participants run in 30-minute increments for 24 hours while a volunteer reads the names of military members still listed as POW/MIA. Each year, on the third Friday of September, Luke Airmen participate in a 24-hour vigil run to honor those who are prisoners of war and missing in action as part of National POW/MIA Recognition Day.
