Neary, commander of Marine Forces Europe and Africa, observes the Georgian ROTO-12 unit conduct pre-deployment training at Algeti Training Area during a visit with members of the Peace Keeping Operations Training Center, Joint Training Evaluation Center, and Georgian 32nd Battalion Commander, near Tbilisi, Georgia, Sept. 21, 2020. Neary met with members of the PKOTC and JTEC to learn about the facilities and training areas the Georgian and U.S. Marines train on in support of the Georgia Deployment Program which provides U.S. Marine Corps training teams to advise and prepare Georgian forces for their upcoming deployments to Afghanistan.
