JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 2, 2020) – Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Pamela Naber retrieves medical supplies at Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s Intensive Care Unit. Naber, a native of Biloxi, Mississippi, recently received a Culture of Patient Safety Award for her critical thinking and commitment to patient safety as a telemetry technician in the ICU. “Becoming a corpsman has given me so many great opportunities and knowledge. Working alongside great nurses has made me want to continue my career in healthcare by eventually going to nursing school.” (U.S. Navy photo by Jacob Sippel, Naval Hospital Jacksonville/Released).
