Maj. Donnie Allen, physician assistant, 45th Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team, briefs members of the team on proper protective equipment and radiation exposure July 26 before the start of a reconnaissance and survey mission. The specialized team from Tennessee was at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center as part of Vibrant Response 13, a catastrophic incident exercise conducted by U.S. Northern Command and led by U.S. Army North. Observers from Army North ensure that leaders from the team conduct a thorough “hot-zone” entry brief.
