U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Commander Col. Teresa Schlosser and members of the ERDC’s Coastal and Hydraulic Laboratory (CHL) give Brig. Gen. Paul Owen, commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers South Pacific Division, and a member of the Coastal Engineering Research Board (CERB), a tour of a CHL physical model during the CERB meeting, August 26, 2020. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, CHL hosted the CERB’s semi-annual meeting virtually with only a small group in attendance on site. The CERB provides policy guidance and review of plans and fund requirements for research and development in the coastal engineering field and aligns them with the objectives of the U.S. Army Chief of Engineers.
