The Army is focused on investment and reinvestment strategies to ensure long-term viability and quality housing, and to make installations the number-one residential choice for Soldiers and their families.
Ron Johnson, project director for North Haven Communities provided an update about upgrades and new housing developments on Fort Wainwright a few weeks back.
“Over the life of the project NHC has development plans to upgrade, demolish and build new homes in an effort to continually improve the housing assets of the project and provide quality homes and quality of life to our resident families,” Johnson said. “The placement of the Bear Paw site is on land that was transferred into the NHC Ground Lease footprint by the Army as part of the Fort Wainwright installation and NHC Master planning efforts.”
North Haven's 36 new units will start to come on line as early as July 2021 and should all be completed by October 2021.
