    Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve     

    U.S. Soldiers assigned to the 168th MP Battalion, pick up a tire during Operation Taji Clean Sweep at Camp Taji, Iraq, Aug. 6, 2020. Operation Taji Clean sweep consists of multiple services to include but not limited to, proper hazmat and waste disposal, environmental cleanup, and the removal of excess equiptment. This operation successfully prepared the base for transfer to Iraqi Security Forces, Aug. 23, 2020. The Coalition is adjusting its positioning in Iraq as part of long-planned adjustments to the force, due to Iraqi Security Forces' success in the campaign against Daesh.
