On August 20th, 2020, 2nd Infantry Battalion 35th Infantry Regiment conducted an Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise (EDRE) in order to test a unit's ability to alert, marshal, and deploy forces and equipment to an emergency disaster or for contingency operations. The exercise required the unit to conduct a 100% accountability of its immediate response force.
