PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 6, 2020) — U.S. Marines with Bravo Company, Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and Gunners Mate 3rd Class Michael Alvarado, assigned to the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25), maintain a protective posture aboard USS Somerset during a training exercise in the eastern Pacific. The U.S. Navy and Marine Corps continue to combine efforts to refine and strengthen fundamental amphibious capabilities and reinforce the Navy-Marine Corps team.
