200721-N-ML137-1098 PHILIPPINE SEA (July 21, 2020) Sailors attached to the Golden Falcons of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12 observe Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians (EOD) assigned to EOD Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5, attached to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 70, fast-rope from an MH-60S Sea Hawk onto the flight deck of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), during helicopter visit, board, search and seizure training. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
