U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Anton Singh a tiltrotor mechanic with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 166, assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command 20.2, receives a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal at Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base, July 15, 2020. Lance Cpl. Singh received his medal for superior performance of his duties as a tiltrotor mechanic. On 27 to 29 June 2020 he was instrumental in the quick repair of a MV-22B Osprey engine. He professionally exceeded expectations, with his knowledge in maintenance procedures leading to successful replacement of an aircraft engine for over 19 hours, using minimal tools.
