Ryan D. McCarthy, the US Secretary of the Army, speaks with Spc. Alexis Brown,
an intelligence Soldier with the 1st Cavalry Division Forward, through a mobile
device July 15, 2020, during his visit to Poznan, Poland. Brown has been essential
in the success of several 1CD FWD missions and was in Germany during
McCarthy's visit. Her supervisor, Maj. Chad Lorenz, stood in for her during
a recognition ceremony and held the device so she could attend virtually.
