Members of the Ohio Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 134th Field Artillery Regiment, and Bo McMahon (not in uniform), the farm manager for Mid-Ohio Foodbank, gather for a photo at an urban farm June 23, 2020, in Columbus, Ohio. The group, along with other members of the Ohio National Guard and Ohio Military Reserve, has been supporting Mid-Ohio Foodbank’s operations during the COVID-19 pandemic since late March. The farm project supports the food bank’s access to fresh produce and will also be a site to provide community education and engagement on urban farming and agriculture.
