Marvin Tucker, emergency manager, 452nd Air Mobility Wing (right), and his husband Joshua Delgado shortly after they first met in 1994. Tucker and Delgado later married on Aug. 3, 2013. The couple is the first same-sex couple to be married at March Air Reserve Base. Earlier that year, the Supreme Court struck down the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act, and deemed that California's Proposition 8 was unconstitutional, which entitled legally married, same-sex couple the same federal benefits as married, opposite sex couples.
