A long-exposure photograph captures two firefighters in full turnout gear and SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) equipment at what appears to be an active fire scene during twilight or nighttime hours. The motion blur and light streaking from emergency vehicle lights create a dynamic, almost surreal visual effect. Water droplets, fire hoses on the wet ground, and the illuminated reflective strips on their gear are clearly visible.

Firefighters move to the helicopter mock-up and suppress the simulated fire. Creating more challenge for the firefighters the drill was held in the late evening when visibility was restricted. Idaho Army National Guard Firefighters practiced a series of fire fighting drills during an external evaluation of their skills. The evaluation exercise was directed as a drill for Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting. The firefighters are soldiers from the 937th and 938th Engineer Fire Fighting Teams, who are part of the 939th Engineer Fire Fighting Detachment. The drills took place on the Orchard Combat Training Center located south of Boise, Idaho.
