The last four AC-130U Spooky gunships with the 4th Special Operations Squadron to retire are parked on the flightline after the farewell flight over Hurlburt Field, Florida, June 9, 2020. The Spookys have been downrange for 18 years conducting combat overwatch. The AC-130J Ghostrider gunships have taken over their mission. These were some of the last Spookys to retire.
