Three AC-130U Spooky gunships with the 4th Special Operations Squadron taxi through the ‘bird bath’ after finishing their farewell flyover at Hurlburt Field, Florida, June 3, 2020. The bird bath is a tradition and celebration of the aircraft’s retirement. The Spookys have been downrange for 18 years conducting combat overwatch.
