U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Danielle Morgan, sheet metal technician, 140th Wing, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, performs COVID-19 testing intake procedures of a nurse at a nursing home, Grand Junction, Colorado, June 3, 2020. Medically trained staff personnel at this facility will be trained on how to conduct continuing Corona Virus testing in order to carry out testing in the future, once the National Guard completes their mission. At the direction of Governor Jared Polis, the Colorado National Guard is assisting state and local officials by providing increased capabilities with state emergency operations centers, local shelters for citizens that need assistance, and increasing COVID-19 testing capabilities across Colorado as needed.
