Lt. Col. Ira J. Phillips, Jr, State Partnership Program Director welcomes the 15 specialists from the Romanian Ministry of National Defense, comprised of ten medical personnel and five CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) who arrived May 25, at Montgomery Aviation. The Alabama National Guard and the country of Romania entered into a partnership, July 1993. Together the partnership has entered into over 200 engagements. This mission focuses on COVID-19 response.
