    A bronze commemorative plaque dedicated to Major Samuel Woodfill, a Medal of Honor recipient who lived from January 6, 1883 to August 10, 1951. The plaque honors his heroic actions on October 12, 1918, during the Battle of Meuse-Argonne in France, where he single-handedly captured three enemy machine gun positions while under heavy fire. It is mounted on a white or light-colored wall and identifies him as a former member of the 5th Infantry Division.
