200515-N-OX321-1090 SIGONELLA, Italy (May 15, 2020) -- Master-at-Arms Seaman Apprentice Nicholas Fletcher tests his driving skills in an Emergency Vehicle Operator's Course held on the Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella Flight Line, May 15, 2020. NAS Sigonella Security Deparment crew members are required to complete every three years as part of their patrol vehicle qualifications and involves three exercises; the serpentine track, parking stalls and an evasive maneuvering course. NAS Sigonella’s strategic location enables U.S, allied, and partner nation forces to deploy and respond as required to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa and Central Command.
