    216th Engineer Battalion

    Spc. Brent Efaw, from Dayton uses a jack hammer to break concrete as part of a training exercise, July 8, at Camp Sherman in Chillicothe. Efaw is a member of the Ohio National Guard’s Chillicothe based 1194th Engineer Company. The soldiers of the 1194th are training to become members of the Ohio National Guard’s Homeland Response Force. The Homeland Response Force is one of 10 organizations nationally that can respond to a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear disaster.
