    216th Engineer Battalion

    Spc. Robert Hodge from Dayton investigates a drainage pipe for causalities as part of a simulated disaster training exercise, July 7, at Camp Sherman in Chillicothe. Hodge is a member of the Chillicothe based 1194th Engineer Company of the Ohio National Guard. The soldiers of the 1194th are training to become part of the Ohio National Guard’s Homeland Response Force. The Homeland Response Force is one of 10 organizations nationally that can respond to a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear disaster.
